Outcome(s)

Primary OutcomeHealing rate of meniscal suture site in MRI evaluation at 12 months postoperatively.
Secondary OutcomeNRS (Numerical Rating Scale for pain) Clinical Scores (Evaluation of KOOS, IKDC score, Lysholm score, and Tegner Activity score) Physical Examination Findings (Evaluation of joint effusion, range of motion, McMurray test, and Watson-Johnson test) MRI T2 Mapping Incidence of Diseases or Complications Frequency of Oral Painkiller Use per Week

Include criteria1) Patients aged 18 years or older. 2) Patients diagnosed with a meniscal tear by MRI and who have undergone arthroscopic meniscus repair. 3) Patients with a performance status (PS) of 0 to 1. 4) Patients who have provided written informed consent to participate in this study.
Exclude criteria1) Patients who have previously undergone extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) on the operated knee. 2) Patients with osteoarthritis classified as Grade 3 or higher according to the Kellgren-Lawrence classification in the operated knee. 3) Patients with concomitant cruciate ligament tears or intra-articular fractures in the operated knee. 4) Patients with a history of meniscectomy, meniscus repair, cruciate ligament reconstruction, or open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) for periarticular fractures in the operated knee. 5) Patients determined by a physician to have cognitive impairment. 6) Patients with contraindications to MRI. 7) Patients with evident physeal plate persistence in the operated knee. 8) Patients with an infection in the operated knee. 9) Patients with untreated bleeding disorders such as hemophilia or those taking anticoagulant medication. 10) Patients with polyneuropathy. 11) Patients with polyarthritis. 12) Patients with malignant tumors. 13) Pregnant patients. 14) Patients deemed unsuitable for the study by the physician.
