Effect of Simultaneous Injection of Contrast Material and Saline on Image Quality in Contrast-Enhanced CT
Basic Information
| Recruitment status | Recruiting |
|---|---|
| Health condition(s) or Problem(s) studied | All conditions requiring body contrast-enhanced CT |
| Date of first enrollment | 17/03/2026 |
| Target sample size | 100 |
| Countries of recruitment | |
| Study type | Interventional |
| Intervention(s) | Written informed consent will be obtained from participants who are considered potentially eligible for this study. Participants will then be randomly assigned to undergo either the conventional contrast injection method (conventional method) or the simultaneous injection of contrast material and saline (simultaneous injection method), which will serve as the control group and the study group, respectively. |
Outcome(s)
| Primary Outcome | Quantitative evaluation: CT attenuation values, image noise, and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Qualitative evaluation: Visual assessment by radiologists, including image quality, lesion and organ conspicuity, and diagnostic performance. |
|---|---|
| Secondary Outcome | None |
