The prospective observational study on the utility of respiratory stability time (RST) as a predictive indicator of cardiac events in heart failure patients

Basic Information

Recruitment status Recruiting
Health condition(s) or Problem(s) studiedChronic heart failure
Date of first enrollment19/06/2025
Target sample size100
Countries of recruitment
Study typeObservational
Intervention(s)

Outcome(s)

Primary Outcome1) Comparison of the 3-day average RST before discharge between cardiac event and non-event groups. 2)Optimal cutoff value of the 3-day average RST before discharge for predicting cardiac events.
Secondary Outcome1)Comparison of post-discharge heart failure-related hospitalization and mortality between two groups divided by the median 3-day average RST. 2)Comparison of post-discharge heart failure-related hospitalization and mortality between two groups based on RST change rate.
