| Intervention(s) | Insert the bronchoscope to a depth equal to the distance from the corner of the mouth to the ear to visualize the glottis. |

| Include criteria | 1)Patients scheduled to undergo surgery under general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation. 2)Patients aged 18 years or older at the time of obtaining informed consent. 3)Patients from whom written informed consent for participation in this study can be obtained, either from the patient or from a legally authorized representative. 4)Patients classified as American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status Class I or II. ASA Physical Status Class I: Patients with no organic, physiological, biochemical, or psychiatric abnormalities. The condition being treated is localized and does not cause systemic impairment. ASA Physical Status Class II: Patients with mild to moderate systemic impairment. This impairment may be attributable either to the condition being treated surgically or to other pathophysiological causes. |
| Exclude criteria | 1)Patients undergoing emergency surgery. 2)Patients who are pregnant or may be pregnant. 3)Patients at risk of difficult airway management or difficult intubation. 4)Patients with a body mass index (BMI) greater than 35 kg/m2. 5)Patients judged to be at high risk for aspiration. 6)Patients scheduled to undergo cardiac surgery |
